Book Two

The Horned God

They put behind them Aussois Nouveau
And went back to their quiet wood.
Much mending was needed of body and soul,
And Saria would do what she could.

 

While far away in the land of the fae,
Aella set herself to task.
A terrible discovery had been made
In the desk of one of her staff.

 

Quick to Aran the truth would come,
And not alone would it arrive.
The news would strike a chord about his mom,
And to her grave he must now ride.

 

What he found therein would trouble his mind,
But fate was not yet through.
The lady had glimpsed a grand design.
This she was sure was true.

 

But, beyond the Woods, a war was raging,
The prince’s campaign impeding their route.
Saria wept the guilt her heart was caging
For what she told the prince’s scouts.

 

Yet, still they went and tried to look
Beyond their last epilogue.
What they found is in this second book
Of The Tears of Tír na nÓg.
